SEEKONK, Mass. — Josh Parsons and Jacob Burns battled hard over the final laps in Friday’s first round of the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series for the Nick’s Pit Stop Legends. But, when the checkered flag went in the air, Parsons was the one celebrating in Victory Lane. Parsons beat Burns to the line after their battle to pick up the victory.
Parsons, a former Triple Crown champion, is off to a strong start in 2024. Burns had a good run himself, crossing the line second. Richie Helger Jr. worked his way into the front few and finished a strong third, with Brenden LaBelle and Mason Tessier rounding out the top-five. Rodney Dowless Jr., Chase Silvia, Brandon Martinez, Kevin Davis and Dylan Calabro finished the top-10 spots after 30 laps. The Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars will be back on the track on Friday, July 12, for another 25-lap feature.
